Car Stereos: install after market CD player, gmc envoy, rear speakers

how do i over ride the bose system it is a 2003 GMC Envoy i bought the adapter at walmart but it don't work and i was told to straight wire it so i found hot wire and ground but no speakers work please help me

To straight wire your new radio, you will need to run new speaker wires.  The front dash and/or door speakers are pretty easy to run wires up under the dash from the radio to the speaker locations.  The rear speakers are a little more involved removing door jamb pieces and tucking wires more discreetly.  Hope this helps, Scott
