Car Stereos: JXP340 Amp. No Power., inline fuse, amp input

Question
I have a JXP340 Amp. Its wired with its own 4g 1 1/2' lead
to my battery. Theres an inline fuse (fuse is still good),
and the ground is clean. I have tested for continuity up to
the terminals and gotten good reads all the way there. The
problem is after hooking it up, reconnecting my ground on
the battery theres no actual power read by the amp. Theres
a small LED light that turns green when this amp is getting
power, and its not kicking on. There is a slot on the side
of the amp for a 25a fuse which is in and verified to be
good. My ground is only 12g, but with that setup it was
previously working. I just decided to move it to a
different place to shorten the distance to the battery. I
switched to an input cable rather than speaker wire,
because I got a different deck with an amp input in the
back.

To summarize:
Fuses are good.
No shorts.
HALP MEEE!

Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Nick,

First thing, it is VERY important that you have a ground that is correctly sized for the amplifier.  12g is not the correct size.

Second, make sure the remote wire isn't the issue.  To verify it isn't, just put a jumper wire from the 12V power input and the remote power on on the amp.

If it still doesn't come on, you might simply have a fried amp.
