Car Stereos: ford explorer, ford explorer eddie bauer, explorer eddie bauer

Question
i have a 2005 ford explorer eddie bauer edition. my factory radio has a button
that says "CD/AUX", but it doesnt have a line-in on the front of the stereo. is
there a line-in located behind the faceplate? and if so, how can i wire in an
auxiliary cord?

Answer
Hi Alan,

The aux is likely going to be an input on the back of the deck that will either be RCA or 1/4" aux input.  You'll need to remove the deck entirely and attach the necessary wire to it.  Then you can discreetly route it back to the console or to the glove compartment for easy use.
