Car Stereos: 05 monte carlo, scoche, aftermarket radio

I want to remove my factory radio, I was told I needed some type of part to hook up to the aftermarket radio in order for my message center to continue working since everything is ran through the radio, what part do I need and where can I get it for a resonable price.

Hi Fred.

you need an installation kit to cover the hole that the factory radio its going to leave, DCGM09 its the wire harness that you need to be able to keep your door chimes, airbags and dome lights but i bet you already know that, and MAP its $99.99 you can probably get it cheaper if you look online maybe ebay.com or crutchfield.com
you also need an antenna adapter MDA-1 scoche Part number
