Auto Racing: Geometry, acceleration processes, drifting cars

Question
do racers use geometry in turn and drifting

Answer
Geometry is an important part of a mathnatics education.  I believe however, trigonometry is more important because there are so many angles in a suspension layout, and also in the dynamics of suspension motion during the braking, cornering, and acceleration processes.

Geometry is used a LOT in the design of the chassis and roll cage construction. When we built my first Datsun racer we were constantly measuring angles and triangles looking for maximum strength and minimum weight.

DRifting cars area  type of race cars , and have to be carefully designed and built.  Every phase of mathematice is used in any pro level car, up through and beyond calculus.

Good luck, and STAY IN SCHOOL
