Auto Racing: F1 Racing, f1 gp, f1 racer

Question
In recent years who was the the oldest F1 Racer to begin racing

Answer
Thanks for the question, though it isn't prcisely clear what you are looking for. Let me try to help.

The oldest F1 winner is Italy's Luigi Fagioli at 53. He won his only F1 GP in his last F1 race, in an Alfa Romeo at the French GP in 1951 - he was killed in practice for his the next race which was Monaco 1952.

There are many F1 debutants who never did much in F1 and even who never started a race, having not qualified in those times where the slowest drivers in practice failed to make the starting grid for the race (automatic qualification is only a recent trend due to the small numbers of teams allowed to compete).

So do you mean:
the F1 driver who started his motor racing career (not necessarily in F1) latest of all? or
the oldest person to try to qualify for his first Grand Prix? or
the oldest person to try to qualify for any Grand Prix? or
the oldest F1 debutant to qualify for a race?

Thanks for clarifying,
Adam
