Auto Racing: timing 94 Escort 1.9, coil pack, street cars

Thanks for all of you info. How do I adjust the timing on a car with a coil pack?  I know the old way of turning the cap but now days I am lost. The web site wouldn't let me ask any more follow ups Thanks, Shane

Here's my excuse.  I know a very good mechanic that recently retired- - -he said, "I always wanted to fix cars,- - -NOT computers!!"   So he closed his shop.

I don't know how to adjust the timing on modern era street cars. you'll have to find somebody in a tune up shop that  is willing to help
