Auto Racing: Tyres, diameter tire, tarmac surface

Question
If a tyre was wider and bigger in diameter does it take longer to wear down? And if a tyre was wider does camber angling need to be less negative then more negative? And what are the bad affects of wide tyres because a few years ago i remember that F1 was talking about Bridgestone tyres were to wide and affected there handling in a way i didnt understand? I'm only 17 learning fast

Answer
well... a bigger diameter tire will wear less than a smaller diameter one...

if you wear a tire by 1x per turn and knowing that a bigger tire will cover bigger distance per turn then you will cover more miles with the bigger tire than the small one for the same number of turns

wider tire with negative camber will tend to contact the track surface with the inside more than the outside... just try to think of a gigantic 3 feet wide tire fitted on a negative camber F1 car... you will find that the outer side of the tire is not even touching the ground...

to let the tire touch the ground and add to the grip you'd have to reduce the negative camber and try to level the tire on the tarmac surface to make the tire grip
