Auto Racing: I need to understand, flywheel, clutch

Hello, I want to know when I choose a clutch and a flywheel I should choose it by engine brand or transmission brand ???

Another thing.. Is the A\C Pump same as A\C Compressor ?

When you are looking for a clutch and flywheel you should stick to reputation. I don't get what mean by choosing it by engine brand or transmission brand. There is only going to be 1 clutch type to fit your car, several companies might make an application for it, but there is only 1 clutch configuration that will go in. Do you understand what I mean? Try and find a manufacturer that has a history of part longevity and a good warranty. The AC pump and compressor are the same yes.
