Auto Racing: Drag and Corners for FWD, biting point, time slips

Hi Jesse,

I have a FWD car.

Which is the fastest way to launch at drag races? What I currently do is:
holding the clutch in, rev up and hold, once the lights turn green, release the
clucth to biting point and slam the gas down. I wish to know the best
technique to use while launching.

Which is the fastest way round on a circuit on a FWD car? By late, early or
neutral apex?

In regards to circuit racing I honestly have NO experience so I will not attempt to answer that. To answer your question about launching I can tell you that one mistake you are making is waiting until the light is green to let the clutch out. I let out the clutch on the 3rd light, by the time the car gets engaged and moving the light has just turned green. Give me a breakdown of your time slips and your car so I can give you a more accurate idea.
