Auto Racing: chevy powerfglide, sarasota florida, last drag

Hey Dan.. I am currently installing a 4.3 vortec into a chevette for drag race purposes..I am trying to find information on what year power glides will bolt directly up to the motor. Thank you for your help...

Hi Thomas:  The second drag racing question tonight !!  The last drag race I won, I succeeded because I was watching the muscles in the flagman's forearm !!  Yep- - -about 1963 or so.
