Auto Racing: Dodge Neon setup, oval track racing, dodge neon

Question
I have a dodge neon dohc with ST 24mm front sway bar and 21mm rear sway bars which are adjustable but I am not sure what the best adjustment is for my oval track racing application. I have camber in the front left and right and it is toed out about 1/4 inch. The car was handling awesome until i got the stiff swaybars so now i need to figure out how to get it to handle with them so it will be just that much better. Thanks for your your time.

Answer
Hi Adam,

I'll be glad to help you where I can, but first I need to know what the car is doing  that makes the handling so bad.
Let me give you a little baseline info to start with though.

Your LF camber should be about 2 Deg positive, ie, leaning away from the car. RF camber should be 3 or 4 Deg negative or top leaning toward the car.  From behind the tires should look like this --->  \ \.  The same for the rear but much less.

I think the 1/4 toe out is a bit much for a FWD car, it will pull extra toe out when you're on the gas. I'd start with about 1/8" of total toe, and put the majority of it on the RF.

Finally, with all that sway bar, you might have to go to softer springs all around , but first things first, tell me what it's doing that is so wrong, we'll go from there

Thanks for the challenging question !
