Auto Racing: double clutching, neutral position, right foot

Question
Hi Jesse.  I am confused about how you double clutch.  I am also confused about the heel-toe movement.  Can it only be done with certain types of pedals?

Answer
Hello,

First off let me apologize for the delay. I have been having issues with my ISP and have been offline. Double clutching (as I understand it) is when you depress the clutch to go from gear to neutral,  let out the clutch, and then depress it again to go from neutral to the next gear. For example in your 1st to 2nd gear change you would depress the clutch and go from first gear to neutral, let out the clutch, depress the clutch again and go from the neutral position into second gear. Heel toe movement from what I interpret, is using your right foot to apply brake pressure while still controlling the throttle. Try the link that I have included for a more in depth definition.
