Auto Racing: tips for baha, jeep cherokee classic, jeep cherokee

I think my jeep cherokee classic is going to turn into a baha machine and I would like to swap out the straight 6 for a 440 with a dodge viper tranny, I have assembled most of the parts and the engine compartment measures big enough, and I have no idea who to get ahold of for off road racing in Alabama. Can you help me or point me in the right direction.

Sorry, but my knowledge of off road racing is pretty much nil. I did 'Google' "off road racing" and there are dozens of sites to dig thru, and several books vailable, plus a few suppliers. You will probably learn more from that in 15 minutes than anything I could tell you.

That sounds like a wicked piece of equipment though, keep the shiney side up !!
