Auto Racing: ford 9inch rear end swap to duster, circletrack, exact measurements

i have read that ford nine inch will work in a duster dart or demon. do you know what the width difference and what mods need to be done to make it work. have a spare around want to make a race car

OK  my quick answer is yes it will work- - in nearly anything, and is a good diff to choose for numerous kinds of racing.

As to exact measurements and various mounting flanges and brackets, there is no way I could help you without seeing the car in person.

All modern rear ends can be modified for width and so forth and there are many shops that specialize in that kind of work.  There are even shops that specialize in the Ford 9" gear.  

Get yourself a subscription to Circle Track and look at advertisers.  I think it's www.circletrack.com .  CT is the best racing mag on the racks, no matter what kind of racing you're interested in. The tech features alone are worth twice the subscription cost.
