Answer
Guy-

At that power level I'd certainly start thinking about forged internals.  It's possible for the motor to make that kind of power (although a few minor modifications like exhaust and a good tune wouldn't hurt), but it's really pushing the capabilities of the stock pistons and rods.  The highest power levels I've seen a stock S197 Mustang (the new models) take is around 580rwhp and that was only for a couple runs running 17psi from a turbo.  I'd say you could safely run about 450hp or so before I'd get really worried about the motor itself...but with a built motor you could easily go past 500rwhp if you wanted to.  To be perfectly honest all centrifugal blower companies are really REALLY similar.  In fact all except Procharger have their roots in Paxton (former Paxton employees left to found them).  For my money it's hard to beat a good intercooled Procharger P-1SC or D-1 head unit or maybe an intercooled Paxton Novi 2200 kit.  Vortech's stuff is good, too but their aftercooler kits tends to be more expensive and the aftercooler itself is a lot more bulky since it's a water-air design.  You might also consider a twin screw blower like Kenne Belle or Whipple.  They've become pretty popular on Mustangs since the '03-'04 Cobras came factory with similar type blowers.  But then again, for my money, a turbo will always win hands down over any blower kit.  Hope this helps.
