Auto Racing: software, loptop, diagnostics software

Hi steve, thank for the advice, i have looked on the t-67 turbo and i was thinking of buying, but with tunning car i wanted if u could advise me on any self dyno and diagnostics software, so that put on my loptop.

  Well...I'm sure there are "piggyback" controllers available for Nissans (the kind that don't replace the computer, but make it adjustable by the user), but I really don't know anything about them.  If you want to use a laptop, that would be more like a stand alone system that replaces the computer completely and needs a laptop to adjust timing, fuel, boost, etc.  The stand alone systems are obviously more expensive because you need a whole new processor, but they are usually much more adjustable.  Hope this helps.
