What makes an air filter high performance? What's the
difference? Thanks.

Hi Tim:

The secret to
ALL horsepower increases in ALL performance cars is pretty basic. Getting MORE gas into the engine in a given time period, getting it ignited, and then getting it OUT of the engine.

A performance air filter allows a higher volume of air to enter the system in the given time period, and with it , more fuel.  That's the difference . If you wondered, I think K&N make the best performance air filters. not cheap but they work !
