Auto Racing: FF and clutches, understeer, stock car

Question
You have been amazing! Keep up the good work!

I have some questions for you:

1) FF cars are built with understeer in to improve safety. Are
there any advatages in the FF drivetrain in a racing track?

2) Twin plate and triple clutches improve accerleration....but will
there be damages to a stock car's transmission?

3) How do I know if my clutch is slipping? What are the signs to
look out for?

Answer
1) under steer is no good at all... maybe the only benefit is that you won't be able to get in trouble and go into a 360 spin by pushing it too hard in corners but other than that it is not good.

2)not really sure but i don't think a clutch can hurt a transmissin unless it is not disengageng and you shifted while the engine is still turning the gears, also trannys get affected by stress (too much torque)and shifting technique... if you got those two covered then any clutch will be the same for the tranny. OK they might put more stress while engaging but not that much to hurt the tranny.

3)when you are at a halt, pull up the hand brake, engage 4th gear and try to move the car... the engine should stall immediatly. also if you floor it in 3rd or 4th gear and the engine RPM goes high in a rate faster than the car's speed then your clutch is slipping... you can notice that if you are driving uphill too.
