Hi John, would you know of a manufacturer of electric vacuum pumps to create a pan evac system.I know that moroso and others make pulley operated pumps but I can't find who makes electric ones?   Thanks.

Hi Bruce.I've gotten that request once before from one of my customers with a  late Mustang,I came up blank .He had a problem with excessive blowby and thought it was normal for a 302 with a b+m blower.I did a leak down test and all 8 cylinders had 35 to 42% leakage.after disassembly i noticed gas ported pistons that with boost pressure wore the cylinders as if the engine had 100k+ miles (there was a heavy ridge!)this engine was built  only 16 months before.there are vaccuum pumps i've seen that would operate power brakes  but they would not have the volume needed for crancase evac.If you don't mind me asking ,why is this  pump needed?
