Auto Racing: about v10 engine, steve adam, cylinder motor

Question
Dear Mr. Steve,
Adam is a V10 and V8 engine, what does they really mean?

Answer
Farhan-

I guess I don't understand the question.  The only real difference between a V10 and V8 is the number of cylinders.  A V10 is a 10 cylinder motor with a "V" shaped block.  A V8 is exactly the same except it only uses 8 cylinders.  Of course, all of the corresponding engine parts like crankshaft, camshaft, and cylinder heads are engine-specific but other than that there isn't much difference.  If I've misinterpreted your question, please let me know.  Hope this helps.
