Auto Racing: History of Drag Racing, objective view, goracing com

I would like to know if there are any websites or literature availabe regarding an objective view of the history of drag racing and the NHRA.

i started collecting information about drag racing at the "goracing.com" site. there are lots of links. as far as an objective view of history, i haven't seen it yet. nhra is a for-profit corporation, and sets its own objectives. drag racing, as far i am involved, is an amateur weekend event among friends.
