NASCAR Racing: Another crash that opened a tv sport program, sport program, sports program

There is a early Winston race where a car flips end over end and lands on its roof. I would like more details, driver, car number and race if possible. I saw it for years opening a TV sports program. Haven't seen it recently.

Hi Pam,

I don't know much about the program or crash that you described. The first one that I know of was the race where Dale Earnhardt got turned and flew through the air and rolled end over end...I think it was either Talladega or Darlington, something like that. Anyway, it was the #3 Goodwrench Chevy...it was black.
