NASCAR Racing: tires, crown point ny, rain tires

Question
I know this question always come up.But why can Indy cars, motorcycles can change the type of tires that they run an still race even if it still raining. So why can't Nascar find  a tire that they can run even if it is raining. I think this would take care of a finish like at the Daytona 500 that a lot of race fans would rather see a real finish. People want to see a real finish to a race. Thank you for your time and I think every race fan would like to hear your answer,  Again Thanks and keep it going left Art Miclette from Crown Point NY.

Answer
NASCAR used rain tires in 2007 at Mexico City in the Nationwide Series race. Previously I believe they were last used in the non points Sprint Cup race in Japan in 1997 or 1998. I think they have a rain tire for the road courses, but not for the ovals. I just think NASCAR would rather either race a day later or call the race after halfway. I know the races being called after halfway are a jip to everyone, but I do not believe NASCAR has really done much research in creating a rain tire for ovals. If it were up to me I would just run the race late (if the track has lights), or run it the next day. I hope I answered your question, I don't really know too much on this subject.
