NASCAR Racing: NASCAR TROPHIES, sprint cup, nascar drivers

DO SPRINT CUP NASCAR DRIVERS GET TROPHIES FOR 2ND AND 3RD PLACE THAT WE DONT SEE ON TV

Hi Rick,

  Actually, all the 2nd and 3rd place drivers get is a nice sized check...the track company pays for the trophy, and so they spare themselves the expense of making more trophies.  
  They do how ever do that is other series like the grand prix and open-wheel (i think).  
  But as the drivers say about NASCAR races, "no one remembers who 2nd place was."
