NASCAR Racing: fly overs, us air force, sox game

when was the first fly over? dose nascar pay for any fly overs

Sorry for the wait, i had some looking up to do for this one!
 Ok, i was reading an article about the fly overs for the red sox game and i read the statement "which costs the taxpayers $100,000 for fuel alone."  So it is obviously supported by the taxpayers' government, which would explain why the # of fly overs are dissipating.  The US Air Force is rejecting more and more request because it comes at the Air Force's expense, not that of NASCAR.
 Sorry but i could not find an offical "first fly over."
