NASCAR Racing: please answer..i have a report to do on this,, pitcrew, drive cars

I am trying to persuade the students in my 3rd period class on, why people should race. I race go-karts and I would like to have your help on this. If you have anything you could give me on this I would really appreciate it.

well it depends on what the criteria for  your report is.
But what you could say is how competative it is. A common thing said by kids is "it takes no skill." and "all they do is drive in circles."

A good way to counter that is to talk about the pitcrew and what they have to do.

And say that people could make anything sound lame with things like "all they do is drive cars." for example (football) "All they do is carry a ball" or "All they do is move from rectangle to rectangle, it's not like it is tyring, u get huge brakes after each play."
