NASCAR Racing: Whats More Important, engine performance, best car

I was asked a question by someone and I was wondering if the answer I gave him was correct. He asked me what was more important in racing, Agressive Driving, or Engine Performance. I said that both are really important but I think that Engine Performance is more important because Agressive Driving won't do much good if your engine is not working properly. I this correct?

You are actually on point with that. If you're engine, or car in general is not up to par it won't matter how great a driver you are. At the same time, a mediocre driver would not win with the best car out there, it takes a balance, but the car is more influencial. Thanks for the question.
