NASCAR Racing: 426 Nascar engine?, bolt heads, petty enterprises

I have what I was told a Richard Petty nascar engine I bought 20+ years ago. Can you tell me if there are any distinguishing markings that I should look for to prove this is one of Petty's motors? It has a  single four barrel intake and all the external bolt heads have been drilled. I bought it in California.

I know, nowadays, that nearly every engine part has engravings of ownership and dates. How they marked or identified then I am not sure. I would try contacting Petty Enterprises and asking there for info:
