NASCAR Racing: expert opinion, formula 1, nascar

In you opinion do you think that nascar racing is a closer and more exiting form of racing, than formula 1, because the rules make the cars reasonably similar and therefore it is down more to the drivers skills as a driver rather then the car.

I'm sorry but I really try to stay away from "opinion" questions. There is no right answer. Everyone has a different opinion, different reason, different likes...
Too easy to get in arguments. So I'll stick to the facts. Ask me who won a race in NASCAR WC 30 years ago (or who ran second that day) and I'll tell you. Ask me who I think is better...well, no can do.
By the way, I just like the close finishes in NASCAR. That's what excites me.
