i am looking for good source for photos and info on lm-sportsman cars 68-85 books with picts on how to    because i like to build models also mods also

I don't have nor know of any one book that would fit your wants. I do have a vast collection of books, magazines, newspapers, programs etc that include some photos of LM/Sportsman cars. I can't tell you of one specific book or magazine that deals strictly with those but if you are looking for a particular car, model or year let me know and I'll see if I can find it for you. If you want to take a chance at finding some on your own many older Race Programs that had a Saturday LMS/BGN race with the Sunday GN/WC race will have some photos. Look for them on eBay under NASCAR: Program.
