NASCAR Racing: Earnhardt collectables, coca cola bottle, ballpark figure

I know this may not be your area of expertise, probably; but I hope you don't mind me asking.
Do you know how I would find out how much an unopened Coca Cola bottle with Dale Earnhardt's picture (#3) and signature is worth and if this should be kept? Dale Jr's pic is on it beside him as well as his signature. The bottle is light green glass with a red bottle cap. (1996)    I miss him so much. I don't want to part with this.  But need to know if it is something to keep safe (locked?).

Collectibles are a very hard item to put a set price on. There are so many factors that change a price, it is impossible to say what an item is worth. Some of these variables; availibility (rarity), buyers, condition, how bad someone wants one....etc.

I always recommend that you go to eBay and watch their auctions for the same item. A precursory check showed a Sr. and Jr. bottle from 2 years ago with an opening bid of $4.00 and a "Buy It Now" price of $8.00.

You can look further to try to find a 1996 bottle. Wait to see if it sells (I bookmark items I watch) and see what it sells for. That will give you a "ballpark" figure.
