Answer
Well, there isn't a lot of information to go on here.

Firstly a "eta" engine doesn't have a crank sensor, it has a rpm and a reference sensor, both located in the gearbox bell housing towards the bottom. The sensor on the front pulley is for use by BMW's 2013 machine,an old diagnostic dinosaur that tells the ignition timing, if thats what you replaced then lets start again.

Give me some more history, was it running and just stopped?
Any recent repairs then it wouldn't start?

Find the Main relay, a 5 prong relay, its white usually located near the motronic control unit.(ecu)
It has 2 red wires, 2 red and white wires and a brown and something colour smaller wire.

With the ignition on, the red and white wires should get power, the red ones should have power all the time and the brown wire (earth) triggers them to switch.

Test that 1st and get back to me.
