Answer
Well your first step in this repair as it is in college is to buy a book. From bavarian Autosports(1-800-535-20020 you can get an excellent manual. Then you need to purchase an inexpensive socket/wrench set.A test light(to check to see if you have power to each seat control at the switch)You may need a soldering iron and solder/wire and most important tape.Your wires maybe corroded internally(the casing will be bumpy and the wire will be green inside the casing)so you may have to replace some of the wire.To take the seat  out you do have to move it forward or back to get the bolts.Best bet is the rear first then the front.remember to unplug the connecters when taking the seat out and disconnect the seat belt as well.
