BMW Repair: Cant unlock any door but the drivers, white lithium grease, intermittent problem

Question
I've recently bought a 328i SE e46 1999 and I have an intermittent problem that prevents me from unlocking any door but the driver's.

One day this problem will happen all day, and the next not at all. When the problems occurs, these are the symptoms:

- Pressing unlock on either of the fobs does nothing (I hear a faint clicking sound but there's no movement)
- I can unlock the door manually on the driver's side and this unlocks this door only
- The internal button by the handbrake will lock all the doors but, pressed again, does nothing
- Pulling on the door handle on the passenger door from the inside does nothing

So unfortunately this means I have no way of getting the passenger door unlocked and open.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

Many thanks
- Steve

Answer
You may have to remove the door panels and lube all the points that pivot.Oxidation has probably gotten to the metal parts. The points that move are sticking and need to be lubricated.Your hearing the motors click but there may be too much tension due to needing some lube(PB Blaster then some white lithium grease once all moves freely) it takes some time but....have you ever lube them?
