BMW Repair: Dead car, jumper box, jumper cables

Question
I have a 2002 325ci BMW that has needed 2 alternators.  Now the car is dead and won't take a jump.  The light go on and the windows work but not enough power to start the car.  2 days before this situation, the "service engine soon" light came on for about 5 minutes then shut off.  Any possible solutions to getting this car out of the driveway and onto the mechanic?

Answer
I would turn off all consumers and if you can get 2 set of jumper cables, jump the car from the front jumper points under the hood and from the battery in the trunk right side of trunk, let both cars you are jumping from run for about 5 minuets then attempt to start Your car. if you have a jumper box you can use a jumper box in place of one of the vehicles.   Hope this helps.   Thanks Nathan Babbitt  (Babbitt Motor Werks)
