BMW Repair: installing a ipod, EML,ABS lights come on at times, center vent, wheel speed

Question
This is a two part question on two different cars. First is a 02 325i. I"m going to install a factory accessory ipod adapter. The silver strip that goes across the dash, does it pull straight off? Or are there screws. The center vent, does it pry out? Any help would help, I don't want to start this by breaking something.
Second vechicle, 03 325i, the EML, ABS, lights come on and go off, She said it's running fine and don't have any running problems. She took it to a mechanic and didn't find any codes in the system. I don't think he was able to go into all modules to get codes. Is there a commen problem with this year with dash lights. Is there a module that controls the dash lights?

Answer
Yes that strip pulls off and there are two Philips screws holding the Radio In. The center vent does not need to be removed. Also if you ask at the dealer they will print out instructions from centernet. Question #2 If those lights are coming on you no doubt have faults stored in the ABS module, the most common thing i see is a bad wheel speed sensor and the ABS module internally bad. You need to find a competent BMW only independent shop that has the correct tools to work on you're vehicle.  Hope this helps....Thanks Nathan Babbitt  (Babbitt Motor werks)
