BMW Repair: 2000 bmw 323i dsc light lit, bmw 323i, 2000 bmw 323i

Question
My 2000 BMW 323i has 190,000 miles on it.  I have had very little trouble from the car.  Lately, the DSC light has been lit.  Tonight the EML light and the check engine light came on and the car did not seem to be getting gas.  When I accelerated it sputtered.  It seemed to be ok once I finally did make it to 40mph or so.  But, every time I slowed down the process repeated itself.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Deborah

Answer
Deb, you need to have the faults read out of the Engine control module (DME) and DSC control unit and have them diagnosed. Usually faulty throttles are found on American Six cylinder models (we don't have four cylinders since 1999 E36 3-series).
