BMW Repair: 99 BMW 528I TRANS/CONVERTER SHUDDER, bmw 528i, mechanical problem

MY 99 528I AUTOMATIC HAS DEVELOPED A TRANS/CONVERTER TYPE SHUDDER WHICH HAPPENS WHEN SLOWING DOWN AND GETTING BACK INTO THE GAS AGAIN. SEEMS LIKE CONVERTER SPRINGS WEAK. WILL FLUSHING THE FLUID HELP? HAS 80K. NO MIL, NO CODES.

Answer
The flush can't hurt just make sure that your trans uses regular ATF. Also you may be able to improve the shift quality some by having the latest SW loaded into the trans control unit. There may also be a mechanical problem such as a bad mount on the eng or trans or the hardy disc.
