BMW Repair: bmw 325i e36, bmw 325i, trailing arm

Question
my beemer in clonking from the rear when i change gear ,would it be diff , bushes or gearbox

Answer
Barry, I can't diagnose noises over the internet. Most common or best places to look are as follows. Lower semi-trailing arm front bushing that is tucked up under the frame, Rubber Differential mounts. Flexible Drive disk between rear of transmission and front of driveline (Gibo), Trans mounts, Motor mounts. Lower semi-trailing arm rear mounts.
