BMW Repair: 4 bolt-5bolt, flared fenders, 5 lug wheels

Question
hey, i have 325e '87. auto 2.69L 4 door etc.
it has 4 bolt rotors as u know, and i am wondering while i upgrade the breaking system is there a set of 5 bolt rotors that would fit. or would it involve doing the spindles and axles etc.(too much work)

Answer
Jordon,
This is a commonly asked question, and it is possible.

The only way to really do this correctly is to find an E30 M3 (very expensive) and remove its complete suspension.  This car looks identical to yours, except it has flared fenders and quarter panels for wider wheels, better suspension, and 5-lug wheels.

There are some write-ups on using E36 (later model 3-series) suspension to do this with.  But in all honesty it is a real pain, because you have to swap the complete suspension from another car to do it.

 Good luck,
 Josh
