BMW Repair: bmw 1997 e36, bmw e36, air valves

Question
Have you every had an over fuelling fault on a BMW E36 318i 1997 tourer?

We have handed a lot of part on this car and it is still the same, When the fuel pump fuse is removed it will run for a bit, But when i refit the fuse it cut's out and the plugs are very wet.…

List of parts that the car has had fitted (new parts)

1) ecu (we got it coded at bmw)
2) injector and rail and valve.
3) all engine sensor I. e temp, throttle, etc.

Fuel pressure is fine, been check by Bmw.

Have you every come across this problem before, i would be very grateful for your time to reply to me

Regards
john
p.s it has no faults on the diagnostic

Answer
John, I see Idle air valves that get stuck closed. They engine doesn't get enough air so the engine gets flooded with fuel. Try tapping on the idle air valve with a metal object (socket extension). If you turn the key on with out cranking the motor do the fuel injectors inject fuel without the motor being cranked? (leaking?) Are the plugs wet without cranking the motor? Play with the throttle as you crank the motor. Does anything change as you give the motor more air? This is all I can think of off hand. Let me know.
