BMW Repair: 94 bmw 325i driver side window, torx screw, screw driver

window fell out of place how do i open the door panel and put it back? or where can i get more info on it

Dear Sam,
Push the inner door handle cover to the right to remove it.
Then remove the torx screw inside. There are also screws at the main door handle that needs removal. Then pry off the  door trim edges with a flat plastic tool or a flat screw driver (the real tool to use is a trim remover). Remove the vapor/sound barrier covering the door. Now you can see why the glass fell off. If you can put it back without replacing the window regulator depends on how it got dislodged. The glass is attached to the 2 sliders by 2 clips. And the regulator bolts oftentimes gets unscrewed specially the one at the left side. But the usual problem here is the circular
plastic roller at this same left side. If it gets broken, then the glass gets dislodged and you have to replace the whole regulator (but use the same motor).
