BMW Repair: E46 m3 xenon setup, xenon lighting, xenon bulb

Question
Is there any danger from not hooking up the passenger side xenon light, and running with the driver's light on.  Can I just leave the passenger side unplugged?

Answer
David,
I will not answer your question directly but will give you some insights on the matter.
The xenon lighting system owes its existence to high voltages that are applied to gases inside a bulb which then gives off light.
Unplugging one of the several plugs relevant to a xenon bulb
will set a fault and light up a check control message or symbol in your dash.
You could get a ticket for operating a vehicle with inoperative lights.
You could endanger yourself and others by running a vehicle with insufficient or inappropriate lights.
I hope that my answer is clear to you.
Have a nice weekend.
