BMW Repair: abs light on, abs computer, night time

Hi. Josh. I hope you can help. I have got 87 325 is model.the other day i left the lights on and drained the whole battery.at night time with no light available and by mistake i have reversed the poles just for a second .after that i noticed that my abs light is on and want go away. how can it be fixed? Thanks in advance.Walter.

 I've heard of this happening before, but never actually dealt with it personally.  I know the ABS computer can be fried when this happens, and this would obviously cause the ABS light to come on.

 I would check the ABS computer and see if it has any signs that it's bad (i.e. melting, black spots etc..)
