BMW Repair: no air from vents, aluminum heat sink, gabe gabe

How are you?
I am in desperate need of help. A couple of days ago I noticed that no air is coming from any vents on any setting. I put it to a/c and nothing, put it to heater and nothing. I am not sure if its the blower motor that went bad or the final stage resistor. Usually i noticed that if its the final stage air gets thru but with off settings. I have a 2000 323I. Please if you can point me to the right direction without having to taking it in to the local dealer and paying hundreds of dollars it will be greatly appreciated.

Gabe, Faulty final stages can do this too. Try the final stage resistor replacement first. Pull it out and see if it is the old cast iron heat sink style or if it is the new updated aluminum heat sink style. This is easier than replacing the blower motor. Obviously if it is the old style replace with new. See other posts for repair procedures.
