BMW Repair: BMW 535i 1989, bmw 535i, battery terminals

Question
The battery has run down on my car. I cannot open the doors. However I can open the boot/trunk. Where is the battery located so that I can get it out to be charged? How do I get into the car using my key? Thanks for your help

D. Jones, it is under the  rear seat cushion pull up on the front edge of either seat cushion and you'll find the battery. If you can get a jumper pack to the battery terminals you can unlock or roll down the windows. Please fill out a follow up survey if this helps you.
