BMW Repair: 1989 BMW 535i german dashboard, 1989 bmw 535i, bmw 535i

Evan,
The battery recently drained on my 1989 BMW 535i.  After the new battery was installed, the information screen in the dashboard is all in the German language.  Can you tell me how to change it back, so that the word are in English.

Dan, try this. Turn the key to the first position (click). Press and hold the CC button in the instrument cluster (right side) for 10 seconds and the language should change. Keep doing this until you get English U.S. Please fill out a follow up survey if this works. If not then let me know.
