BMW Repair: 1987 325i Convertible, freon r12, high beams

Question
Good day I have a 87 325i convertible BMW and everything has been working fine the first week that i have owned it.  It has been a California car for 19 years and now its in North Carolina.  Today it rained pretty hard and now the air conditioner has seemed to stop working and the head lights i did not have time to see if the high beams worked but know that the headlights and airconditioner seem to not be working the air conditioner just blows warm air and the snow airconditioner button doesnt seem to light up.  There is one leak in the convertible top where the hing is that leaks all over my passenger front seat but that seems to be the only leak.  I have heard a story that these models are very sensitive to water.  But any help would be nice thank you very much for your time.

Answer
Very nice car ,I just worked on one yesterday. The a/c proably needs to be recharged.Being the year it is it normally would have R12 as freon.R12 is very hard if not impossible to get.You can change it over to R134 by getting a retrofit kit at your local parts store.
For the lights check the relays in the fuse box..remeber its 20 years old.
