Ron:

I have had the O2 sensor replaced four (4) times in the last two (2) years.  Every time the "check engine" light turns on, I take it to the dealership.  Every time I'm told the only returned "code" is the O2 sensor.  Please help.  I'm afraid damage is being done to the engine.  Thank you for your time.
Answer -
Any chance you know which o2 code as there are several.
Sorry, I do not know the code(s).

Answer
O2 malfunctions can damage the engine and cat converters.
Do you have factory exhaust manifold?
The factory manifold was a problem and was redesigned to move the o2 senser closer.
Expensive option.
The o2 can be damaged by certain fuels and by engine coolant if you have an internal leak.
